Dear E!
It has been an incredible month. You are really talking now. It all happened this month. You were saying a word here and there and then this month it has turned into 2-3 word sentences. Your first three word sentence was "There it is!" and the two word was "What's that?" Here are some other things you have been saying lately:
"Pizza good"
"Nurse first"
You are in to negotiation:
"Two minutes!?"
It is so much fun to have conversations with you now. You point up and say "bird...roof" I asked you how many and you will say "one". Or sometimes you will even identify the species like "sea gull" or "duck".
I left for a business trip for two nights. I think it was harder one me than you as you did ok with Dada. I hated that I had to leave. You were so happy when I arrived home. You and Dada picked me up from the airport.
You are fascinated by things falling on top of something and getting "stuck". You will put a toy car on a stuffed animal or one of your small people and say, "Ow!" or "Uh-oh" stuck!". I think it is all because of this show you like on TV called "Fireman Sam". There is an episode where someone falls down with a small fridge on top of them and he is stuck. You play this scene over and over in your mind as I think it may be confusing to you or you think it is just interesting!
You are independent but at the same time love Dada and I so much. You want to do your own thing but like us to be there with you. We have Meleana here with us three mornings a week. It is so hard on you when I leave. You get really upset and cry. It is really hard on me too as I hate seeing you so sad. But you have a nice friendship starting with M. I am hoping it gets better and better for you when I have to go. You are so friendly with people. You will give strangers walking past us on the street a big "HI!" as we see them. You also have a reserved side too and are hesitant to let people into our circle. I think it is the perfect way to be.
We are still nursing and it shows little sign of stopping. We are talking about getting you a big boy bed. You told me proudly that you want a blue one! I can't believe how fast time zooms by. i am trying my best to just take in each day and enjoy you. You are growing up so fast! I know I will look at you one day and miss these early years so much. I am so thankful that I have been able to be home and really be by your side so much. It was so important for me to raise you myself. I love that Dada and I can be with you most of the time. It has worked out so well. I love you E. I hope you and I are always close and become good friends as you grow up.
XOXO
Love,
Mama
