Pick Me Up!

At about three months, I started to teach Evan that if he wanted me to pick him up, he should extend his arms up to me. Each time I pick him up, I hold my hands out to him and ask him if he wants me to pick him up. For months, I have just looked at his little face busy trying to read what I am telling him. On Saturday, Evan was in his stroller and I asked him if he wanted me to pick him up and holding my arms out as I always do. He lifted his arms up to me! It was amazing. Steven and I said "Wow" at the same time watching our little boy communicate to us so clearly what he needed.

These past weeks, I have thought he had lifted his arms up to me but I couldn't tell as clearly as I could now. Sunday he did it again. I love this!
