Today was a typical Tuesday. The only thing that made it not so typical is all the things Evan can do now. He is army crawling all over the house. He found me in the bathroom tonight. I opened the door to find him in the hall. He was so happy to see me.
Evan has been super fussy this last week. I am thinking there is another tooth on the horizon.
Nothing makes him happier than going to the park. We got our outdoor blanket today. I had ordered it a few weeks ago. The blanket on the grass feels better than the hardwood floor when you are practicing crawling. I noticed yesterday that Evan has his first bruise on his elbow. I noticed today he has one on his knee. Crawling is hard work and I guess from the looks of it can cause bruises! When we were at the park we watched all sorts of people and dogs walk by. Evan loves dogs and gets really excited to see one. We met one named "Gracie" who came over to see Evan. Once the dog was that close Evan wasn't sure what to do. Evan just stared at the dog and the owner who had a large straw hat on his head.
On the walk back home we had an LA moment. There at our bluff was a huge film crew getting ready to shoot. They had all the director's chair in a line and cameras mounted and ready. Here walk Evan and I through the hustle as we own the place. We do own it as we are here everyday sometimes twice a day!!
This afternoon we went to the nursery to find some plants for our stoop. Grandma is arriving on Friday and she is a good excuse to get our stoop finished. I was excited to bring Evan to a nursery as he loves plants and trees. I carried him around the nursery in the Ergo. He was quiet and observing.
