This Week

Evan is saying exploring more sounds. Some of them are very impressive!

For the first time this week I saw Evan "talking" to his stuffed animals inside his crib.

I asked work for an extended leave and some opportunities to work from home. I am not ready to go back.

Evan is getting longer....I am amazed as he looks longer one morning from the night before!

He is still not sleeping through the night. This week we have been getting up more often. 2-4 times. This makes for one sleepy Mommie.

We are working on Evan holding up his neck and holding items in his hand. He loves his activity center. I call it the "Baby Las Vegas". It has lights and music to stimulate his senses (no gambling allowed). It also has a mirror that he can look up and see his own reflection. He loves it and frequently laughs and coos and the music and activity.

I left Evan for the first time. I had a meeting with my boss about work and he stayed with Daddy. I think he missed me. I was only gone for one hour and 45 minutes but who's counting...(smile)
